ChainSum ("the App") is developed by SimpleApps05. This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how it is used when you use ChainSum.
By creating an account or using the App, you agree to the collection and use of information as described in this policy.
Account information
When you register, we collect your display name and email address. Your email address is stored securely in Firebase Authentication and is never written to our database or exposed to other users. Only your display name appears on leaderboards.
Gameplay data
We store your scores, completion times, move counts, streak records, and XP progress. This data is used to power the leaderboard and your personal statistics.
Crash reports
If the App crashes, Firebase Crashlytics automatically collects technical information about the crash — including your device model, Android version, and an anonymous user identifier. This data is used solely to fix bugs and improve stability. It does not include your name or email address.
Advertising
The App uses Google AdMob to display advertisements. AdMob may collect your device's advertising identifier (GAID) and other information to serve relevant ads. You can reset or opt out of personalised advertising in your device's settings (Settings → Google → Ads).
Guest play
If you play as a guest (anonymous), no email address or display name is collected. A temporary anonymous UID is assigned for the duration of your session. Guest scores are stored locally only and are not uploaded to the global leaderboard.
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to third parties.
ChainSum offers optional in-app purchases processed through Google Play Billing, including:
All purchases are handled entirely by Google Play. We do not collect, store, or process your payment information. Purchase records are managed by Google and subject to Google Play's terms of service and privacy policy.
For refund requests, please contact Google Play support directly. Purchased items are tied to your Google Play account.
ChainSum uses the following third-party services, each governed by their own privacy policies:
Your account data is retained for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account (via Profile → Delete Account), your authentication record, Firestore documents, and leaderboard entries are permanently deleted within 30 days.
Crashlytics crash reports are retained by Google for 90 days.
Local data (offline scores, settings) stored on your device is removed when you uninstall the App.
ChainSum is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
